Hi, my names Crystal Meth, Speed, Ice.

Hello, My Friend I destroy homes. I tear families apart.I take children and that’s just a start.I’m more valued than diamonds, more precious than gold. The sorrow I bring is a sight to behold. If you need me, remember, I’m easily found.I live all around you, in school and in town.I live with the rich, I live with the poor.I live just down the street, and maybe next door.I’m made in a lab, but not one like you think.I can be made under the kitchen sink, or in yourChild’s closet, even out in the woods. If this scares you to death, it certainly should.I have many names, but there’s one you’ll know best.I’m sure you’ve heard of me. My name’s Crystal Meth.My power is awesome. Try me. You’ll see.But if you do, you may never break free.Just try me once, I might let you go.Try me twice and I’ll own your soul. When I possess you, you’ll steal and you’ll lie. You’ll do what you have to, just to get high. The crimes you’ll commit for my narcotic charmsWill be worth the pleasure you’ll feel in my arms. You’ll lie to your mother, you’ll steal from your dad. When you see their tear, you must not feel sad.Just forget your morals, and how you were raised.I’ll be your conscience. I’ll teach you my ways.I take kids from parents. I take parents from kids.I turn people from God. I separate friends.I’ll take everything from you, even your good looks andPride. I’ll be with you always, right by your side. You’ll give up everything. Your family, your home.Your money, your friends, you’ll be all alone.I’ll take and I’ll take till you’ve no more to give. When I finish with you, you’ll be lucky to live.If you try me, be warned. THIS IS NOT A GAME.If I’m given the chance, I’ll drive you insane.I’ll ravage your body. I’ll control your mind.I’ll own you completely. Your soul will be MINE.The nightmares I’ll five you when you’re lying in bed,And the voices you hear from inside your head. The shakes, the sweats, and the visions you’ll see. I want you to know, these are your gifts from me.By then it’s too late, and you’ll know in your heart, That you are now mine, and we shall not part. You’ll regret that you tried me. They always do.But you came to me. Not I to you.You knew this would happen. How many times were you told? But you challenged my power. You chose to be bold. You could have said “no” and just walked away.If you could live over, now what would you say?My power is awesome, as I told you before.I can take your mother and turn her into a whore.I’ll be your master, you’ll do as I say, Even when I tell you to go to your grave. Now that you’ve met me, what will you do?Will you try me or not? It’s all up to you.I can show you more misery than words can tell.Come, take my hand. Let me lead you to hell.

Baby Mumma

MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR

Gerardo proposed ! He took me out to lunch and then to the beach. At the beach he told me that i have made him change a great deal and he wants to continue to change to become a better person, and he knows he can only achieve that if i am by his side guiding him! I got sooooo shy as he was talking, i didn't even want to look at him haha. i kept hiding my head or putting it to the side, lol he could tell is was SHY which in return made him a little shy too (he went red ;P) He got down on one knee and told me that i was his first priority and so was our baby. Yes i am pregnant, around three months now :D I am staying with my parents till Gerardo and i both save some money. It is what is best for my child and i. I can't wait to see my babies face & even though when i first found out it was so stressful the only way i can look at it now that this is a blessing. Every child is a blessing :)

FOTD

I have been feeling really tired lately and so far have taken two blood tests, but in the last one i took she filled three tubes up haha! I have a feeling it is a boy, but about three weeks ago i had a dream it was a girl. We'll see, as soon as i can find out the sex of the baby i am going to find out! We have already chosen names, for a boy Salvador and for a girl Selena :)

Anyways back to the proposal when he placed the ring on my finger it was toooooo big haha it fell off straight away haha he thought that my fingers would be the size of his little finger but WRONG lol my fingers are skiny as haha i get it back on January the 5th because at the moment the ring is being re-sized. I was measured to be a size I.

Hope you all had a Feliz Navidad y un Buen Año Nuevo, Con much amor y cariño.

Just Breathe

As most of you know i have been feeling a little under the weather. It seems work, studies and going to class is getting the better of me BUT i won't let it.
Life is simply too short and by dwelling on things will not get you anywhere.

Alot of us are so caught up in troubles that we forget to appreciate even the smallest things like breathing; every breath is a gift, or seeing the sunrise which reminds us it is the awakening of another beautiful start in our lives.

If any of you have been feeling low lately, of have troubles of your own, or even have people making trouble for you, just know that life is too short. Smile at every moment possible.
I once read a quote that really inspired me, i cannot remember who it was by but it said something along the lines of -- Fire can only be quenched by water.
So next time someone gives you are greezy, simply smile at them, or if someone is bugging on you, don't bug on them back, simply do the opposite and see how it goes.

Do things that make you happy.
When i am feeling sad and run down i like to go for long walks were i can hear nothing but the birds and feel nothing but the breeze. It may sound silly but it truely calms me down.
Also taking long baths and filling the bathroom with candles.
Recieving Lots of cuddles from someone you adore & also giving. I find when i give someone something and i see them smile it makes me even more happier then recieving a gift.
ICE CREAM and lots of it. How i love the loud song of the ice cream truck on those summer days.

Pampering yourself, put on your favourite tunes, do your nails, wear a face mark and read your favourite book, or watch your favourite FUNNY movie. 'Along Came Polly' is a good one. The first time i watched it i must have rewinded it countless of times watching that chubby blonde guy entering the vicinity saying "the man is here" and progressing to fall over haha!
Everytime you go out takes lots of photos and look back on them when you feel like this. Remember the feeling you had when you were taking those photos, and say to yourself that you will have plenty of more moments like these.
Blog about how you are feeling, what makes you happy so you can look back on these.

Doing these things is like giving, as Holly from 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' likes to say it'the reds' , a smack right were it hurts and to leave thee alone!

Your smiles are to precious to be waisted away!

Yesterday was a beautiful day! I had not seen my boyfriend for a little over a week which is not like us. I was so busy with work and everything that we only got to speak each night for only 15minutes because i was so tired. That really took a toll on my mood.

Yesterday was a beautiful summery day which we have not had in months. I took him around to wear i grew up, showed him my primary school and the old play ground i used to play at, even at my oldschool. We are seven months into the relationship and the question arose, why have i not shown him this early?
Well i could only come up with one answer! Lazyness, and it strikes each and every one of us. I am not going to play that card anymore so i am practising awareness, and trying to make each moment count!

Gerardo & I on our way to the park

We ate ice cream at the park and i couldn't help but laugh on the way he eats/sucks on it! The we bought lollies including those little lollies in the shape of teeth and stuck them in our gums acting silly! We then came back to la casa, to eat and watch one of my favourite movies of all time. 'A walk to Remember'. If you have not seen it, SEE IT!
Most of you may think this is all rather mushy but like i said, i post about the things that make me happy! So you should you, everyone is unique, so what may be appealing to me, may not be to you, and vise versa!

The long journey ahead that awaits you, let it be beautiful!
Mine is self healing and growing.
Whats yours?

Mucho Amor

SOMEONE I ADORE

It is DAY TWO of the thirty day blog challenge
SOMEONE YOU ADORE & REASONS WHY
I couldn't pick just one person so this goes out to my

MOTHER

AND
MY BOYFRIEND

MY MOTHER AKA AURORA 'LOLITA'
My mother isn't just someone i simply call mother.
If there was a list of worlds best mothers i believe she ticks all the boxes.
She is wise, respectable, walks with poise and no matter how tired or distraught she is, she always magages to put the ones she loves before her own needs.
She does not boast about her doings.
Her advice is always right andand being the stuborn girl i am i always think i am right. Turns out sooner or later i realise the advice that she gave me was right all along and i come crying to her promising myself i would listen to her from then on.
She is always presentable and looks elegant.
She grew up in a poverty and has come many trials in her life.
She is strong willed and has a strong heart.
My only wish is to become more like her.
GERARDO, THE BOYFII
He goes through alot of effort to come and see me, catching two busses and two trains from his area once for a whole week just to be with me while i was on holidays.
He tells me i am beautiful even if i have no make up on and i am covered in zits.
He brings up my self esteem ..ALWAYS.
I feel completely comfertable around him.
We have been through alot already and have proved to eachother that we were meant to be by giving eachother the support we each needed to get through certain situations.
The night he asked me out he said to me in a deep manly voice
" I GOT CHU AITE"
7months later he now speaks to me like a wittle baby, ha!

There are many people whom i appreciate, adore and look up to.
and they definately know who they are, trust me, i make it known (:
MUCH LOVE !

Spread love everywhere you go, first of all in your own house. Give love to your children, to your wife or husband, to a next door neighbour. Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of Gods kindness, kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in you smile, kindness in your warm greeting.

J.LO '05

Jennifer Lopez.

Since i can remember i have loved Jennifer Lopez, growing up i remember jammin' to her tunes since the age of 11 and kicking back to her movies since i was like . .younger. Alot of people down grade her because she doesn't have a big voice such as other artists but for real i admire her because she never gives up and she works so damn hard. She has her own clothing label, her own perfume line (my faves, "Miami Glow" & "Live by JLo" LOVE THEM), countless of albums and songs she has written, not to mention how creative some of her concepts are for her music videos, and she has even started to produce movies.
A little latina from the Bronx can really go places and even though she has been critisized for re-marrying, she says "i am a big believer in love, i am not afraid of it, i leap right into it". That one phrase made me think, we have all been hurt in the past by past girlfriends/boyfriends and i for one have always struggeld to let people in because of the pain, but since hearing her say that there is nothing to really be afraid of. If we live life being scared of something we WILL miss out on something beautiful. Don't let others ruin things for you, life is short, all you can do is take what you can from it, including the strength you gained and the knowledge you now posess, ;)

This is off her fashion show for VOGUE . 2005.

ESTEVAN ORIOL.
Indeed one of my favourite photographers. Most are familiar with his work for the clothes brand 'Dickies'. He is incredible and i for one can relate so much to his work.
Much respect.

Beauty in the everyday..

I can hear the crickets, feel the cool wind, taste the air and see beauty in the blue, grey sky before me. I make pictures out of the clouds, but i am quick for the clouds change their shape so quickly. Everything is so beautiful before me, i wonder; how did it all come to be? How did nature progress into idustrialism? How did it come to be that wearing shoes with a heel on the end are classified as fashionable? Where did the word fashionable come from in the first place? I feel wonder and mystery when i look at the world before me, from the night sky to the stars shinning and sparkling in the sky that might be already dead by the time we see it on earth. It is amazing if you truely think about it.
Everytime i look at something old, i see it in a new light, more like new eyes. You must or you will loose apreciation of it because it becomes ruitine (as is everything else in this life.) I will always have the mentality of a child, so pure hearted; to see things in awe and appreciate them for what they are. To look at people just as they are, not for what they are wearing. See with age we get taught to look at things a certain way, in saying that i think a child is more mature then the average adult as we become slaves to society's way of thinking, not what we were born with. Society grasps us by delicious things that are tempting to crave and feed off of such as the media and such, captivating us and changeing our way of thinking deriving us away from our nature, but i am different and see things differently. Most people won't understand this, and do not understand me. I have spirit, i have life, i am just me and i feel beautiful and im learning to embrace my differences from the average teenager, i am learning to love me.

LOVE FOR CHILE

I finished school in 2008 and took a year off to relax and find myself. In that year i traveled to my beautiful country Chile. It had been six years since i last saw my 11 or something aunties and unlce's, big family huh? (imagine all their children and their children's children ha ha.) The experience really made me realise how much i take for granted living here in Australia. What i mean is everyday things that we use and don't appreciate, my family in Chile don't have. Poverty isn't a big thing for them, they are as happy as can be, making a living out of what they can and they inspire me. Some people are so money hungry and are never content with anything, i can't see myself reaching to that level.
Today as i was supposed to be doing an assignment for Justice blaaa, i kept getting distracted because i was face booking (yes i bet you knew it already) and just looking at photos of my trip to Chile. I remember the stray dogs on every corner of the streets, the park down the end of the road were all the boys from el barrio would go play soccer and all the kids play jump roap, the smell of fresh bread from the bakery every morning, the late nights drinking with the cousins and just joking around (my family are real crazy nut jokers, i'ma tell you that), the long talks with my cousin Nicole at night about everything and anything, the weird supernatural things that used to happen in our house (yes om goodness i witnessed some freaky stuff, whether there be a scientific reason or not i know what i saw and i wasn't the only one who saw it 'dunn dunn dunn') and just the every day general do nothing, have fun, tan outside of the house listening to the neighbours pump reggeaton. Life is so different over their compared to here. I remember the first night i stayed in Chile my sister and i actually heard gun shots and a lady screaming (you don't get that every night here in Australia do you?) Mega Culture shock.

Chile really is a beautiful country, the surrounding mountains and the fact the sometimes in the sky you can see The Andes at a distance, the sites and Santiago the capital, even the main cemetery were one of the presidents of Chile was buried "Allende". Everything was so beautiful, as much as I'd love to travel to different countries i must make it back to Chile to see my beloved family.

NOTE. If you live in pretty much the ghetto like i do, don't plan on taking nice clothes because even clubbing in Chile consists of Chuck Taylor's, jeans and hoody or tee.

HUMAN

Sometimes i feel like i need to take a break from this fast paced life of cycles and normality. Every week its as if the cycle begins once again, "the life of the working man". Every single human being is so wrapped up in propaganda, media and money that they forget or sadly don't even know how to take time to find that place of serenity in the roots of awareness, or even by being one with their soul. By taking time out from even industrialism and getting intouch with nature in complete awareness. When i am in that place i let all my senses flow and experience what it really is to be human; to hear, see, feel everything this earth has to offer. It is then that i feel like i am truely living. It is like i am breathing in mother nature and my body connects with the earth as one. I appreciate the natural beauty; the wind blowing the leaves of the trees and the grass, the colours of all the flowers, the light and feel good energy of the sky and sun on my back. I am one, I am whole, I am happy, I am free. When i take a break from this fast paced life, even by going for walks it allows me to appreciate what it truely means to be a human being, and to treat my senses to the natural surroundings. Just a thought.

NO LABELS

As of yet I have not given a preamble, but that’s me, I don’t like to do things in order; the way they should be. Generally I am a typical teenager who styles hair for an income, to the public eye anyway. People don’t really give ‘inner-ness’ a chance, do they? Based on looks is what will delineate you, they may not say it out loud, but people sure are thinking it. I observe. I ponder.
What if one day I dressed as a ‘punk’, would I be treated the same?
I have a friend, who studies the different stereotypes; who goes into the world dressed as someone different, to view the different reactions you may get from people. What is he getting at? What am I getting at?
The world in which we live puts different people into particular groups based on the exterior. By being thrown in those groups we also espouse a personality by ‘their account and opinions’ without us even knowing. It’s like a web tied around us with thick CLEAR strings hard to break free of. That’s the power of judgement; it grows into the minds of others and before you know it, it’s fatal. It blinds us from the truth.
Those ‘People, who categorise' are like marching ants; stepping patterns all inclined, if you step one foot out of line you will defiantly be noticed for all the wrong reasons. Why? Because it’s simply, ‘not the way things should be done, ‘not the way you should dress’ and ‘definitely not the way you should act’.
How splendid would it be to just be free of such thoughts? To walk down the street dressed not like everybody else but how you feel without being frowned upon.
I admire people who break away from normality. I am drawn to them, like a moth to a flame. They are the light that brightens up this dull world of familiarity, routine and cycles. Just because of the ‘crippled ant’ that walks out of line there can be a conversation other than ‘how much do you make’, ‘where do you work’, and ‘what club did you hit up on the weekend’. They cycle does not stop, everything is ruled, we just choose to follow.

How beautiful would it be to just break away from everything? From society, the media, judgement and people like you.

GEORGE GITTOES

Gittoes has acquired the title “war artist or war hero” of following nearly 30 years in the field, focusing his gaze on human victims of conflict and the “desperate determination” of individuals. Gittoes has a strong ability to encapsulate the complex emotions present in the cry for mercy in the midst of tormenting circumstances. He shows the world what the media does not want us to see; the pain and agony that people suffer in third world countries, while also travelling and painting the stories of places that have been greatly affected by tragedy. His confronting images, including dead bodies, diseased children, blindness and amputation take a different perspective to the media. Regular bombardment of disturbing images in the media has caused many people to feel “desensitised” to violence. It is harder, however, to become comfortable or familiar with Gittoes’ images, as his art appeals to human emotion and ideas of justice, rather than political theories.. With every bold confronting brush stroke one can tell a story from his artworks. They detain every ounce of human emotion than the picture itself as a whole. His paintings can be defined as explicit and raw as he paints the utmost truth It has become a hobby of mine researching the meaning behind every one of his artworks.

I first came across George Gittoes, former painter, drawer, photographer and film maker when I was studying art in my last year of schooling. I was intrigued with his artworks, immediately with the first glimpse I had a hunger for knowledge; with the confronting and harrowing images he produces. He gave me a source of knowledge in a way I could not get from anybody else. His paintings have been stored in my photographic memory with apocalyptic meanings from events that happen on a daily basis. Though his paintings are cold hard raw, they unravel the blind folds each and every one of us has on our perception of life and what we take for granted.
